When these first start hitting the pegs in January, collectors were quick to notice that this release was only appearing at Walmart and the cases only contained this car. The #2018 Hot Wheels #Replica Entertainment #Simpsons Family Car is indeed a #Walmart Exclusive packed 10 to a case (of 10).

Why you ask?

Well, since this one-off was done exclusively for Walmart, the Hot Wheels Malaysia plant took on the manufacturing of this piece. With the rest of the #Replica Entertainment releases for 2018 being manufactured in Thailand, these were the only item that could be packed into those boxes. Hence, why you see them packed 10 to a case.

This is the third release of the Hot Wheels #Simpsons Family Car, with the other two releases being mainline cars in 2015 and 2017. In addition to the 2018 #Replica Entertainment release being far superior in wheels and detail, the metal base gives it a substantially heavier feel.

As far as more cars from #The Simpsons, Hot Wheels only has #The Simpsons Family Car and #The Homer, but both have received mainline and premium treatments. Are there any other Simpsons vehicles on the horizon? None as of yet, despite collectors clamoring for the Canyonero and Mr. Plow from the TV series.
