The Hot Wheels Pantone line (JKY47) moves forward with the B case (2026 mix 2). With this case we are starting to see some trends. Just like the Porsche 934/5 in Pantone A case, this case also has a metal/metal “chase” piece in the ’67 Ford Bronco. That isn’t the only vehicle that comes 1x case, however. The Rally Finale and Sandblaster both return for this mix and are also 1x case — albeit with plastic bases.

Case themes also appear to be a thing. The first case was definitely more sporty with the casting and color selections. The only casting choice that didn’t seem to fit that theme was the Kool Kombi — which cam 3x case. Mix 2 appears to be more of an “off-road” segment. The only oddball? The Custom ’69 Volkswagen Squareback — another VW that comes 3x case. Outside of that, these are all off-road vehicles. Their colors also reflect this with more of a “natural” or “Earth-tone” palette.
