6/13/2019 — Hot Wheels collaborations are off the hook these days so it should come as no surprise that another one is on the way. This time, its a collaboration with Gumball 3000, netting us this super cool Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4. Hot Wheels unveiled the car today via their social media accounts, leaving collectors to speculate when and where this car will show up. NOTE: Rumor has it that it will come in an acrylic case, and be more of a premium release, despite the basic wheels. Either way, this Gumball 3000 Lambo is an ultra cool release.

Hot Wheels partnership with Gumball 3000 has already produced some sweet mainline cars (’70 Ford Escort RS1600 & ’69 Corvette Racer) this year, as well as a nicely-done Replica Entertainment Subaru Impreza WRX. The race from Mykonos to Ibiza is currently in progress — despite Team Hot Wheels unfortunate crash yesterday — so the timeliness of this announcement only solidifies the excitement the brand has behind this partnership.

UPDATED 7/11/2019 — Apparently the Lamborghini will be a “shop load” in the HWC Shop on Thursday, 7/25. No word yet on price, or how many will be available. Expect quantities to be super limited as is the case with most shop loads.

UPDATED 7/19/2019 — The Gumball 3000 Lamborghini sale on HotWheelsCollectors.com has now been officially confirmed via THIS NEWS ARTICLE on the site.

UPDATED 7/25/2019 — With a very limited supply on-hand, the Aventador sold out on HWC in less than 5 minutes.
