The 2019 #RLC Membership #Custom Camaro is here! Decked out in #Spectraflame Black, this Custom Camaro (casting-wise) resembles the very first RLC Membership car, the #’67 Camaro. As a RLC Member since that inaugural year in 2002, I’ve been along for the ride; and while its sure been a tumultuous tenure in the Red Line Club as the club has seen its fair share of issues, the majority of those issues are in the past and we are finally reaching some euphoric days ahead.

Hot Wheels Custom Camaro, the 2019 Red Line Club (RLC) Membership Exclusive (with 2002 RLC ’67 Camaros)
Its estimated that over 20,000 #RLC Memberships were sold for 2019, meaning this #Custom Camaro is most likely the highest-produced HWC/RLC car of all-time. It does come without a quantity sticker on the back of its blister card so if you are thinking you’ll find the quantity there, you’re out of luck. Who cares though, right? I mean, this is an excellent release and its definitely best served: opened.
If you have the HWC Special Edition from last year, in enamel white, you are in for a treat as it really doesn’t get any more black & white than with these two and their contrasting colors. Since learning about the 2019 #RLC Membership #Custom Camaro about six months ago, I couldn’t wait to get the pair together. Mission Accomplished!

#Harry Bradley Designed the original #Custom Camaro in 1968. #Larry Wood Designed the #’67 Camaro in 1983 in essence of that original Custom Camaro. The ’67 Camaro has since become arguably the most popular casting in Hot Wheels history. For years, the ’67 Camaro was used in place of the Custom Camaro in various anniversary lines. The have been some other #Camaro castings to wear the “Custom Camaro” name, but none have been more true to the originals than the #Brendon Vetuskey Designed Custom Camaro that first appeared last year in the O16 Store Display Set. It involves the best features of the 1968 U.S. and Hong Kong tools — so while its a new tool, it very much embodies the persona of the original redline-era casting — making it a perfect casting to be the 2019 #RLC Membership car.
…still can’t get enough of these two together…

So there you have it: your 2019 #RLC Membership #Custom Camaro. Were you able to get into the Red Line Club this year? Membership sales shattered all kinds of records this year, so hopefully you were able to — I can’t tell you how many new members I’ve talked to in the last two weeks. There is so much buzz surrounding this year’s club as several of the designers have shared images of the prototypes they’ve built along the way. Detail, quality and the cool factor are all up. If you saw the RLC Sneaks from the LA Convention last October, you saw where this club is headed in 2019. The progress has been fantastic, so the fact that the RLC team chose the Custom Camaro to be this year’s club car, shows they are honoring the past with both feet on the gas pedal, aimed towards the future of the RLC. Get excited! This is officially the first of many great releases for 2019.

I thought the 0-16 release was different from the White, and now RLC membership Camaro.
This new Custom Camaro casting has been released 3 times: 2018 O16 Set (Root Beer), 2018 Special Edition (White) and 2019 RLC Membership (Black). There is another release (pink with real riders) coming out for the convention next month.
First time RLC member.
You always remember your first (year).
The red pinstriping around the front hood looks awesome!
It truly does! The ’68 COPO Camaro had a similar deco.
