Securing video game licenses has been a clever way to sneak some diversity into the #Hot Wheels Entertainment Line as the line heads for its fifth consecutive year in 2017 (now as “Replica Entertainment”). Many popular #TV & Movie Cars have been released — and rereleased — so it seemed as though this was a critical turning point if the line was going to continue going forward. Capping a 2016 that saw four mixes of five vehicles each, were the #Gran Turismo and #FORZA Motorsport waves.

One of the many great releases to come from these two waves was the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera from the#FORZA Motorsport segment. Dressed in a glossed black finish, with detailed headlights & taillights, is an #Exotic #Race Car that feels like its pulled directly from the video game.

In addition to the FORZA logos emblazoned all over the hood and sides, are the Microsoft Studios logo and the XBOX ONE logo — with the latter lending its color scheme to the car.

The Hot Wheels #Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera casting has been around since its inclusion in the 2011 New Models series, but it has never received the premium treatment like this — full metal/metal casting with #Real Riders. The standard mainline version of the casting has had a metal body with plastic base whereas the Light Speeders and Color Shifters releases have had the plastic body / metal base combo. Even this year’s #Gran Turismo Series release had the metal/plastic combo accompanied with the standard #PR5 Wheels.

Check your stores that carry the #Hot Wheels Entertainment Line now as these are just starting to hit. Also, if you’re more of a set person, Toys R Us will be carrying all five #FORZA Motorsport cars in a limited edition box set starting October 30th. NOTE: Some collectors have reported finding this already.
