It feels like if Arnold Schwarzenegger had ever designed a Hot Wheels car, it would have came out like the Hot Wheels Tanknator. Its not just the name that draws the comparison as this tank on racing steroids is fast and intimidating all while offering some wholesome childhood fun.

The Tanknator is the latest in a line of ‘tooned utility trucks. 2013 brought us a bulldozer in the Speed Dozer, 2015 brought us a milk truck in the Chill Mill, a fire truck in the Backdrafter, a flatbed hauler in The Haulinator, and now in 2016 we have a tank in the Tanknator. It is also the latest in #Castings that are compatible with Mega Blocks figures.

What may surprise you about a large casting such as this is that it is actually great on Hot Wheels track. There is a plastic lip molded into the treads of the rear Off-Road 6-Spoke (OR6SP) wheels which causes a lot less friction, allowing for the vehicle to run smoothly on the track. If that wasn’t cool enough, the turret on top turns!

So if you’re keeping track at home this aggressively-designed ‘tooned tank; allows for your mini figures to ride in it, has a turret that rotates, flies down the track, all while being part of a fleet of newly-styled, ‘tooned utility trucks.
