    • Their not up dating very well here Richie,i just bought 3 of the Nightburnerz cars,& should be recieveing them this Wed.—Hopefully.

    • Wonder if Canada/Ontario are going to see any of the special ID cars?Like the-K.I.T.T,Mystery Machine,VW T1-GTR–ETC.I notice that they have been released in the U.S.A.And already the vutures are asking stupid prices for them.

      • Yes. Technically those are out yet. U.S. Targets put them out early. Those should all be as attainable as the rest have been.

  1. Wondering that whether the new models will re-release in the mainline or not, because there is no way to get any model in this serie in China currently, especially during the trade war. Also the fact that the application for the cars is not available in China really turned us Chinese Hot Wheels fans down. Why would Mattel give up making more money and give the profits to the second market sellers?

    • Hi ya Brad, today i just recieved 3 of the Night Burnerz cars.# 1- is–Night Shifter,# 2-Solid Muscle,# 3-GT Hunter. On the special boxes that the cars come in,they show how many in the set in the bottom right corner. If you look at the Night Burnerz set–its show’s that there are 6 cars.It maybe a special track?I’m sorry but # 6 is a mistery to me to Brad.Cheers.–Bob.

    • Hi ya Brad,i just recieved 3 Night Burnerz’s today.# 1-Night Shifter,# 2-Solid Muscle,# 3-GT Hunter.I’m sorry Brad,# 6 is a mistery to me to.There is no listing or posting for it.It maybe a track Brad?On the special boxes that the cars come in,the Night Burnerz set in the bottom right corner states that there are 6 cars.????.If i find out,i will shot you a notice on this web.I need it also to complete my son’s set.Cheers Brad.–Bob.

  2. Thank you for this list, it is very helpful. Is it possible to obtain exact dates of when each set will be released and how? Will they release 6 at a time once a month?

    Thanks

    • You mean Amazon the head tripper’s.I ordered hot wheel cars from them b4,waited 1 time over a month & half, only to be told it is no longer avaiable,or it was lost in the shipping.I just ordered the Rip Rod id car.Have a bad feeling about this. Can’t stand Amazon, wish there were other hot wheels source’s besides them Kijiji,& e-bay.–Now there is the cream of the lot.e-bay are a real joke.Lord help me.

  3. I think the Batmobile listing was an error. They pulled it when they realized. I don’t see how it sold out so quickly, unless they only received a few. There aren’t any on ebay which is odd. Maybe they are waiting for Prime days Mon.15 & Tue 16. Wishful thinking I know.

  4. Thanks very much for posting this info and having it so easy to find. You rock! I found what I wanted!

  5. There is a limited SDCC digital only armored Batmobile. Not sure if it belongs on list or not because it’s not physical diecast. Limited to 700

  6. Hi! LOVE your site! I am however confused with the number of “series 1” i.d cars for 2019…I have heard from a few sources that there was going to be 51 cars total…and now with your update I count 55!!! What’s going on??? I need to sort this out for my future display at home…Best regards, Guy Lahaie.

    • Hey, Guy. Thank you! If you take away the track set exclusive cars (4), you have 51. That is the number I heard for 2019 as well. 2020 should have upwards of 100 cars… I don’t believe any of those are on this list, but then again, I can’t say that with the utmost confidence.

      • Hi Brad and thanks for your reply! So…the Back to the future “Time machine” should be the 51 st and final car for 2019 then! I sure hope so…cause my set up for a display is for 51 cars in my Hotwheels room at home…lol!!!

  7. Found red GT Hunter and purple Solid Muscle at a DFW Target this week. Must have been an accidental shipment or something. Scanned the truck and app says truck is not supported. Wish they had the aqua night shifter, always liked the casting.

    • Hi Joseph,i see what you mean about these dates. Its a good thing that you scored the Batman when you did.I have 2 ordered but yet to see them–same as the Rip Rod,ordered that on the 9Th of Oct,& still Amazon haven’t even recieved any to send out.I truly believe Joseph, that some of these ID cars are just going to be impossible to find & get.The vultures out there, like to take everyone of them & then sell them on sites for triple the price. They just ruin it for everyone.Specially a guy like me that just want’s 1 for his son.

      • Don’t know if you’re in the Southland Chicago area but several targets in the area have quite a bit of stock of Rip Rods. As well as others. However, no Mystery Machine yet.

    • Rip Rod was prematurely sold on Amazon. Release date for that is 11/1 for Target (first-to-market for 2 weeks), then 11/15 for Amazon and other retailers.

  8. Thanks for this awesome info, Brad. I don’t know if anyone knows the answer to this but I am confused about the Mystery Machine. Has it been released already, because I have seen the id car listed on auction websites? Or this model has not been released yet and somehow they nabbed from somewhere? I am just wondering if i should buy off one of these sites at a really high markup. Any clarity is appreciated.

    • Mystery Machine will be a Target Exclusive for (I believe) the 12/1 drop. What you are seeing on eBay are the ones (packaged) that Target put out early. Personally, I would wait as they should be as plentiful as the ’66 Batmobile.

  9. Hey Brad, a BIG THANK YOU for the latest update on “i.d” and putting every cars in their proper groups! You make our life easy to help keep track of our collections! Much appreciated!

    • As much as I would love to take credit for it, you can thank my friend, Tim, for finding all that info out. So many collectors support the information on this site and I couldn’t do it without them.

  10. I have learned that Target stocks all id cars under one item number. Meaning, if I asked for a certain id car, all they can tell you is the total number they have in stock. Not how many of each one available. I’m kinda new at this and this might be old information. Just sharing what I know. Thanks.

    • That’s very typical of Target. Also, per being told by Target employees – their website system for checking in-store inventory is notoriously wrong. The handheld trackers the employees carry around in the store are the only thing that are semi-accurate.

  11. Thank you so much, Brad. As soon as I received your update, I was able to find the Mystery Machine! Your hard work is extremely appreciated!

  12. Hello Brad, thank you for posting these listing. Its looks like that VW T1-GTR may be a hard one to get a hold of?What do you think?Your reply would be very much appreciated.

    • I swear I looked here just several days ago and I didn’t see the “BUY NOW” link. Did we miss out that fast?

  13. Yep,had a feeling it was going to happen, after waiting almost 2 months for Amazon to send me the Rip Rop,they just e-mailed that its unavailable from them. They have done this countless times to me,& you wonder why i hate Amazon so much?

  14. Amazon is showing Jaguar i-Pace eTrophy shipping 1/29/19 and HW50 Concept shipping 1/1/20. Both available for pre-order now.

  15. The BMW i8 is up on Amazon. “In stock” date of 12/13 and priced higher than earlier waves. Also, many of the earlier wave cars have had price cuts.

  16. This afternoon, 12/10/19, the DJ Express went on pre order and sometime after, the ’15 Custom Mustang went on pre order also. Ordered 2 of each.

  17. Thanks for your hard work on keeping us up to date. Ive found this list very helpful. I have 40 out of the 51 single box cars, the race portal and the smart track plus the night shifter chase and the variation on the 66 tv batmobile.

Keep up the hard work and have fun collecting
    -Dan

  18. I just bought the Fiat 500 iD on Amazon UK, retail £6.99. Doesn’t appear to be on the US site yet. Go get it if you want it!

  19. Amazon can stick their service up where the sun don’t shine.I have bought & recieved 34 of these ID cars from them.I tryed to order the Fiat 500e to finish off my sons collection.Amazon states now that they won’t & don’t ship to Canada.WOW.I just got 34 cars from your source.Nothing has changed.Amazon UK.Apparently Canada won’t see the Fiat til July, its along wait.Welcome to the land of Amazon??????

    • Do you mean the Audi R8? It’s been out for a while now. It’s a Target exclusive, only available in stores.

      • Yes,that is correct William,the R8.My bad.I live in Canada.Who know’s when we will see it?Thanks for the infor.

  20. The 2020 HW TURBO will be a very hard get. Especially with the Bugatti Chiron. Will be waiting with patience.
    🤗🤗🤗🤗

  21. Hello Brad, I’ve been watching the 2020 series 2 list and wondering when any of the new series will be listed as BUY NOW!

  22. Any word on series 2? Got the legends tour bone shaker but the rest seem impossible to find anything on so far.

  23. Any word on series 2? Got the legends tour bone shaker but the rest seem impossible to find anything on so far.

  24. What is going on with the id series cars? The three authorized distributors in the US are Apple (had first rights in July of last year) then Amazon and Target followed. The international market authorized distributors are Apple and Amazon. Why is it that the last batch of series 1 id cars came out in December of 2019 and nothing new has been put out since, and here we are almost June 2020 and no series 2 cars available from the authorized distributors – even though the id app was updated 2 or 3 moths ago showing the 16 new cars from series 2, yet are unavailable.
However, how in the hell is it that the series 2 cars started popping up on ebay about 2 months ago? Why are they showing up there, at 3x the cost of retail, by a bunch of scalpers? Where did the cars listed on ebay come from and how did they get them if the authorized distributors don’t even have them? Did pallets go missing from a warehouse somewhere? Did they fall off the back of a truck?

Brad, why are you linking to ebay for these scalpers for the series 2 cars in your list above? Don’t feed those clowns, they are ruining the collecting hobby.

  25. The last update to the app includes a new Mystery Machine and the logo behind it seems to be the same as the other carded/chase models. Would that be the unaccounted-for 8th entry in the list, and would its presence suggest it’s the next on after Bone Shaker?

  26. Just wondering when their going to come out with the remaining series 1 chase cars.Have all[except #7 & # 8]Hot wheels really need to finish a series before they start into another,i notice they do this all the time. And your dead on Don,scalpers need a bullet, they take the enjoyment out of trying to be a collector.Hope 1 day the greed of them turns the other way?

  27. See that the Vultures already got their paws on the Aston Martin 1-77.Wonder if the decent nongreedy collectors in the world, will ever get a chance to purchase one of these?Without getting butt slammed by one of these stinkin parasites. Thanks for stealing the one car out of my son’s collection.

  28. When is series 2 going to start appearing in stores? I’d really like to get my hands on that Mustang, but I don’t want to pay eBay prices.

  29. Starting to see a few new ones on eBay and they are pricey! Anybody know who is selling these at retail?
