The Baja Bone Shaker was chosen as the #Bone Shaker‘s wild side in this year’s #HW Mild to Wild Series. While some may feel the Bone Shaker is already pretty wild, the Baja Bone Shaker is the Bone Shaker as an #Off-Road Vehicle. Even though they share the Bone Shaker namesake, the two castings were designed by different Hot Wheels designers. By now, most collectors know that the Bone Shaker was designed by legendary Hot Wheels designer Larry Wood, but what most don’t know is that the Baja Bone Shaker was designed by designer Abe Lugo.

As you can see, this #HW Mild to Wild Series pair was executed phenomenally as the pair wears the exact same paint and a very similar graphics scheme with matching #Skulls and crossbones. Of all the pairs from this year’s HW Mild to Wild Series, its hard not to argue that the Bone Shaker pair came out looking the best.

One little tidbit of information to pass along with this release of the Baja Bone Shaker is that the tarp and tire on the back end have been retooled to be part of the metal body versus them being part of the separate plastic piece that had been used on previous versions of the casting.
