The Hot Wheels Retro Style Series has produced some pretty stellar releases which is not bad for a #Target Exclusive series that retails for $1.29 here in the United States. While some think the casting selection could have been a little better, there have been quite a few gems in this 16-car series that was released over two waves (of eights cars each).

Of those gems, was the #Porsche 930 — a metal/metal car, that has been missing since its 2001 Cyborg City 5-Pack release … or so I thought. It turns out the Porsche 930 was actually retooled a couple years ago for its 2012 Hot Ones release. Most collectors were/are unaware of this release as it was part of the last wave of that line, making it on the hard to find side.

Regardless of the Hot Ones release, you can obtain this 2016 #Retro Style Series release fairly easy as Targets in the United States are currently stocking it. That is great news as the graphics on this one, which were designed by Hot Wheels graphic designer Steve Vandervate, are amazing and fit the series and the car perfectly.
