Track Aces (2015 New Models): ’15 JAGUAR F-TYPE PROJECT 7

A car built for racing in both real life and in Hot Wheels scale, the ’15 Jaguar F-Type Project 7 is one of the world’s more limited cars with only 250 made. According to the back of its Hot Wheels casting’s 2015 blister card its a

two-seat roadster powered by a 5.0 liter Supercharged V8. The body is 100% aluminum and features a quad exhaust and additional rear spoiler. It’s fast, exclusive, and rumored to be Jaguar’s most powerful production car ever.

That’s quite the rumor as Jaguar once had the world’s fastest production car, EVER, in the Jaguar XJ220 (tomorrow’s featured casting).

The Hot Wheels version captures the aura of the actual car quite well. From the British Racing Green paint to the white stripes across the front, down to the black 5Y rims/wheels, the Hot Wheels team nailed this one! The Hot Wheels team has even deemed this car, a member of the Track Aces, making the claim that this casting performs very well on Hot Wheels tracks.

You may have also noticed that the ’15 Jaguar F-Type Project 7 (shown below) also features an empty white gumball on the car’s sides. Typically when Hot Wheels does this, its so kids can write their own number on it with a Sharpie, when racing. In this case, the actual car has the blank white gumball. This definitely increases the casting’s level of authenticity in relation to the actual car. This Hot Wheels ’15 Jaguar F-Type Project 7 is out now, so grab one at retail and lets us know how it stacks up against the competition.
