2009 New Models: LAMBORGHINI REVENTÓN

Toro! Toro! One of the most rare and expensive vehicles Lamborghini has ever produced, the Reventón was inspired by the world’s fastest airplanes. The Reventón name is taken from a bull best known for killing a famous Mexican bullfighter in 1943. The 1:1 Reventón had a hefty pricetag which was rumored to be about $1.4 Million (US) when they were sold in 2007. Out of the 21 that were made,  9 of them were sold to buyers in the United States.

The Hot Wheels version of the Lamborghini Reventón can be had for a significantly cheaper price tag–of course! But values of this super car do seem to be on the rise. While the 2009 New Models version (shown below) can be had for around $10-shipped (carded), there are two versions that are fetching high dollar on the secondary market. The Black Speed Machines version has been selling in the $40-$60 range (carded) and the Mystery Models version that was released internationally in Europe, has been selling north of $30.

So while there are some harder to obtain models, and lets say this article enticed you to pick one up, there currently  are a few Exotics 5-Packs from 2014 hanging around the pegs at local retailers. Make sure you snag one of those before they’re gone as you never know, that could be the next hard to obtain Lamborghini Reventón.
