#Hot Wheels Monster Trucks continue to roll out. In a line that basically has no restrictions its the wild west out there as there have been some crazy releases so far — and its about to get even crazier. This shouldn’t surprise anyone that has collected Hot Wheels #Monster Trucks as far back as the #Monster Jam days as monster trucks have always been crazy. Kids love the eccentric designs. Ever go to a monster truck event? Every kid walks out of the venue with excitement as there always seems to be one truck that rips itself apart.
Bigfoot was the OG monster truck. “HE” was the truck to beat. Collectors rejoiced when Hot Wheels released the retro version of the truck last year, causing the collectors who grew up with him to take a second look at the new line. There was even a planned Target Exclusive release of the truck that was supposed to be released, but for some reason never showed up at Target — or really retail for that matter. While the mystique surrounding that #Bigfoot release continues to grow, fans will be delighted to know that there is a new Bigfoot casting making its debut for 2020.
This time, #Bigfoot returns as a modern-day, Ford F-Series Bodied #Monster Truck with an aggressively raked stance. The truck is based off of the actual Bigfoot truck that can be seen at the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks LIVE events — hence the name of the series. When placed next to the Bigfoot casting from last year the pair creates a perfect “then & now” example.
Big things are planned for the #Hot Wheels Monster Trucks line for 2020. The line jumps from 50 trucks in 2019, to 75 trucks in 2020; and you can bet this isn’t the last we’ve seen of #Bigfoot. Plus, the “Crushed Car” accessory that can be seen in the picture below looks to be receiving a significant upgrade as several new diecast tools were created from current Hot Wheels cars. More on that soon… For sneak peeks of those, make sure to check out @hotwheelsdreamteam on Instagram.
What’s next for Bigfoot? We will have to wait and see. For now, make sure you’re on the lookout for this one (if you’re a fan) as last year’s Bigfoot didn’t hang around for long. Happy Hunting Crushing!

When I went to the STL Auto Show, there was a Bigfoot there, too.
Awesome article, Brad! I have last year’s edition of Bigfoot, and he’s occupies a place of honor on my wall!
Brad, have you been able to find the Target exclusive version? It seems quite elusive.
I have not. It continues to elude me. Only hearing of a few sightings at Best Buy last fall.
