12/27/2019 — Today, Hot Wheels Designer/Sculptor, Manson Cheung (@awildermode on IG) posted the FEP of the new TMNT Party Wagon that will be appearing in the #2020 Hot Wheels mainline. This is a brand-new casting designed by Manson, and should be appearing in the 2020 “H” case assortments.

The new mainline TMNT Party Wagon differs from the premium version designed by Chris Colangelo that was released at the 2019 Comic Con. News at the convention back in October was that the #TMNT Party Wagon would be seeing “toned-down” mainline counterpart. Collectors proceeded to speculate what elements would be simplified. With the post from Manson, we now know that the mainline version will not have the #Moving Parts in the guns on top and the swing-open door. Also — as figured — the four turtles will not be included. In addition to those, the casting overall is smaller than its ultra-premium counterpart.

Either way, it will be great for fans of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to finally have a “playable” version of the totally bodacious pizza-slinging van many kids of the ’80s and ’90s had come to love. And, if the high-end collectible route is what you desire, you can always pony up for that comic con piece — or just gawk at mine!
