Some of the #Unlicensed Hot Wheels #Trucks can be pretty cool. I often wonder what they would look like on the road if they were 1:1 cars. The newest truck from Hot Wheels is one that is dubbed #2-Tuff. It appears in the #HW Hot Trucks Series and is one of the #2019 New Models.
Along with it being the #First Edition of this casting, it is also the debut of a brand-new, off-road wheel: the #Baja 5-Spoke Wheel.
I’m not sure how many of you out there do this as well, but every time Hot Wheels releases a new basic wheel, I feel like it is taken from Matchbox — even though it isn’t. I think I have been doing this since the PR5 was introduced in the early 2000s so its nothing new, and I have come to accept that its perfectly acceptable for Hot Wheels to introduce new wheels styles.

Hot Wheels 2-Tuff from the 2019 HW Hot Trucks series … also part of the 2019 New Models (BAJA5 Wheel)
The #Baja 5-Spoke Wheel is actually pretty cool. Its got this 5-Spoke star shape in the middle, which is colored, just like the outside lip of the rim. The tire portion of the wheel has a knobby tread to it and definitely makes an interesting sound while racing down the orange track.
Back to the truck though….
The Hot Wheels #2-Tuff looks as though it is the perfect #Unlicensed Hot Wheels as it pulls inspiration from several places — including modern auto manufacturers. I recently came across a facebook post that compared the front-end of the 2-Tuff to that of the most recent Ford Mustang generation. I went another route however. I feel as though the front end looks very Mazda — thank God its not from when all of Mazda’s car models were designed to “smile”. I even brought out one of my #’15 Mazda MX-5 Miatas to compare. Notice the downward slope of the hood and the shape of the headlights and grill?
The Hot Wheels #2-Tuff is hitting stores now as part of the #2019 Hot Wheels “B” case assortments. Its the first of (what I can assume) many trucks to wear the new #Baja 5-Spoke Wheels. What do you think of this one? I’d love to hear your comments below.

Looks like the front of my 2010 outlander mitsubisi, I should know I drive it every day. That’s what I see in the new hot wheel truck. I think hot wheel should go back to when the cars has rubber tires and the hoods and doors opened, I love our old hot wheels they go faster on the tracks than most new ones that is our oppion. We have so many hot wheels we open a store just for them. It’s fun collecting them because the hunt can take you anywhere.
