7/18/2018 — I mean… COME ON! Every time you think you totally “buy what you like”, Hot Wheels hits you with another WHAMMY! … and all the “gotta-have-it-nows” go crazy. Dragstrip Demon fever is already hitting collectors and the #Car Culture series is still two mixes away. Collectors have already started to preorder this series of #Gassers from hobby dealers as many are assuming they will never see them hanging at retail.
Featuring uber-popular castings like the #’55 Chevy Bel Air Gasser and the #’66 Chevy Super Nova (which makes its retail debut), this series was already going to be highly sought after. As you can see above however, the other three #Gasser castings are not to be overlooked. The ’65 Mercury Comet Cyclone will be making its convention debut in October as it inches towards the Bel Air and Nova Gassers in terms of popularity, whereas the ’65 Dodge Coronet and ’63 Chevy Nova AWB have already seen increases in their prices for their 2009 Dragstrip Demon releases.
To add fuel to the Hot Wheels Collector “gotta-have-it” fire, the @hotwheelsdreamteam on Instagram also shared the artwork Hot Wheels Senior Packaging Designer, Julian Koiles did for this series. It takes many styling cues from the 2009 series and even features the same logo… collectors are going to “have fun” chasing this series. See you at the pegs! I’ll be the one camping out for the next two to three months.

Does anybody know what stores are carrying the drag strip demons cars?
I’ve only seen them at Walgreens so far.
