The Raptor is officially a Hot Wheels car! Wahooooo. While some may consider the #Sandblaster as a Ford F-150 Raptor, this #First Edition of the ’17 Ford F-150 Raptor casting is officially licensed by Ford and has collectors hitting the pegs in search of it.
Ford hit a home run with the Raptor. Appealing to Millennials and off-road enthusiasts, this truck combines a sporty look with a nostalgic name to form an off-road truck straight from the dealership — or in Hot Wheels case, straight from the package (see video below).
While the Ford Raptor may look like a casting that belongs in the Matchbox brand for Mattel, us “blue-brand” collectors are thrilled it found its way to the Hot Wheels brand. We anticipate many recolors for this one as its already a hit with collectors and kids alike. In addition to its off-road performance capabilities (shown in the video below), the Raptor also performs quite well on the downhill track with Hot Wheels’ newest off-road wheel, the Bead-Lock Off-Road (BLOR) Wheel. Look for this one at retail now!
