One of the best Hot Wheels #Treasure Hunts of all-time, the Dodge Viper RT/10 from the 1996 Treasure Hunts Series still looks fabulous 20 years later! Back in ’96, only the second year of the Treasure Hunts, production numbers of this popular series were still noted on the blister cards with this one totaling 25,000 pieces worldwide.

Out of the 12 Treasure Hunts (THs) for 1996, the Viper was easily the most desirable for many years. Interested may have waned in recent years with this one currently selling for around $20-shipped — half as much as it used to selling for back in the 2000s.

This Dodge Viper’s brilliant white paint job combined with its blue racing stripes and white pro-circuit 6-spoke (PC6) wheels make it one of the most recognizable THs among collectors. Just the PC6 wheels are special in that they only appeared on 1995 and 1996 Treasure Hunts. Heck! Premium wheels in general were special in ’95 & ’96 as they disappeared from the Treasure Hunts line until the 2000 Treasure Hunts Series.
