The Simpsons Family Car (The Simpsons)

The Simpsons Family Car is back in Pop Culture. It hasn’t appeared in Hot Wheels Premium since 2018 — pre-merge of the Pop Culture and Entertainment lines. Enough time has passed that this isn’t a straight carry-forward. The previous version has silver painted mirrors and this one does not. Also, the card art is vastly different.

Guinevere Van (Onward)

The Guinevere Van from Disney Pixar’s Onward (2020) is also back in Pop Culture. This one is another pre-merge Entertainment line release back in 2022. For all intents and purposes, this is the same release. The shade of the newer release is a tad darker, but that’s the only difference I could find.

’66 Porsche 906 Carrera 6 (Forza)

Straight carry-forward here. This Forza release of the ’66 Porsche 906 Carrera 6 last appeared in the line just two mixes ago! Not sure why this was re-released so soon, but here it is.

Pizza Planet Truck (The Good Dinosaur)

Onto the new releases… The Pizza Planet Truck is back as well. However, we see a new execution here. The truck has become an easter egg in Disney Pixar movies since first appearing in Toy Story. Those movie easter egg versions of the truck have started to appear as Hot Wheels releases in this line. Back in 2021 we saw the Pizza Planet Truck get a wood-grain deco allover it to replicate how it was seen in Brave (2012). Similar to the execution of that release, we know get the “asteroid” version of the truck which was seen in The Good Dinosaur (2015).

’85 Chevrolet K5 Blazer (Stranger Things)

New casting alert! Hopper’s ’85 Chevrolet K5 Blazer debuts here in sort of a lackluster mix. This was very much a hero car in the first couple seasons of Stranger Things (2016-2025). With “Hawkins Police Dept.” on the sides and a red, white, and blue light bar on the top, this one became highly-requested by fans of the TV series.
