Hot Wheels 2025 Car Culture / HW OFF ROAD “H” CASE REPORT

Hot Wheels Off-Road #Car Culture series just don’t get the love the other mixes receive from collectors. Maybe it’s the generic “HW Off Road” name that lacks character or maybe it’s just that trucks aren’t as popular — or in this case, hoard-worthy. For me, the 2025 Car Culture / HW Off Road series is spectacular. Sure, I collect 3 of the first castings, so there may be a little bias there.

We start with the new casting in the mix: the #’24 Toyota Land Cruiser. Apparently the blue this one comes in is called “Heritage Blue” — something I did not know at the time of the unboxing. What a way to debut a new casting! This iconic color may end up being the best release of this casting — and that includes the chase! The all-black #chase variant is nice too, and definitely gives off those stealth vibes.

The only other vehicle in this mix that I don’t collect is the #’87 Toyota Pickup Truck. This one is usually the hottest vehicle in whatever mix it appears in. I’m not sure if that will be the case here, but the red with retro stripes — complete with “SUP YO” license plate — gives this truck a personality.

The Subaru Brat and ’17 Ford F-150 Raptor are two Hot Wheels castings that I collect. You can even see their respective collection updates here on OTD. Sure, those articles/updates are a couple years old but you can see what I like about those castings. These releases are a little on the bland side based on what we’ve seen in years past. Regardless, they are both welcome additions to their respective casting collections.

Lastly, one #Collection Update that I need to do is with the Land Rover Defender 90. It is a sneaky-good casting that has had some great releases. This release in yellow is subtle, yet very on-brand for this truck.

I unboxed one of these 10-count HW Off Road cases on the OTD YouTube Channel, and have a full #Case Report for you here. 1 Stop Diecast still has some cases available so grab yours now!

Hot Wheels #Car Culture cases (FPY86) contain only 10 vehicles, unlike Hot Wheels basics cases which have 72. In this mix, you are guaranteed to get all 5 cars in the series. There are two variants of the case — with or without chase piece. In a standard case (without chase) you will get two of each vehicle. In a case with a chase, you will have the chase piece inserted for the second piece of its casting counterpart.

Below you’ll find the case list — all of which are seen in this video above and in the images below.
