11/30/2017 — The onslaught of 2018 merchandise from Hot Wheels is here and among that is the update to the #Mystery Models line. Apparently someone as Mattel is listening — or its purely coincidence — as collectors have wanted more licensed vehicles in this line, and this mix certainly has that. Its also worth noting that the gold chase cars appear to be a thing of the past, or at least for now. Also, its appears all the cars are numbered with their series number — meaning #2 in the series has the #2 in the graphics, and so on and so forth. Word from Mattel is that these should hit the U.S. in several weeks, as they have already started showing up in Australia.
