07/18/2017 — Late yesterday afternoon we received notice that the long-awaited #Iron Man / #Hulkbuster Iron Man 2-Car Set would go on sale today on HotWheelsCollectors.com… and sure enough, it did. To accommodate for the late-notice, #RLC members are given a 48-hour priority window on the set which is priced at $34.99 (+ S&H). Everyone else will be able to order starting at 9AM PST on Thursday which is fitting since it is the first day of San Diego Comic Con. Both Iron Man & Hulkbuster Iron Man castings in this set received metal chassis (to match their metal bodies) for the first time so you can bet that the Hulkbuster will tip the scales as potentially the heaviest Hot Wheels car ever made. In true RLC fashion, both #Character Cars receive #Spectraflame Paint and #Real Riders for the first time as well. Lastly, this set is limited to 4,000 pcs.
