The Hot Wheels ’17 Ford F-150 Raptor has three distinct casting levels: Basics, Premium, and Ultra-Premium. The basics casting (designed by Ryu Asada) debuted in 2016. The casting was then retooled & redesigned (by Brendon Vetuskey) in 2018 for RLC to feature a metal base, opening hood, and opening tail gate (ultra-premium). The premium casting debuted in 2019. It is the basics casting with a metal base/chassis.
