Hot Wheels 2026 Pop Culture Q CASE REPORT

Hot Wheels Pop Culture “Q” cases (2026 mix 3) have been hitting retail for a few weeks now. It is a case loaded with 4 new releases (x2) and one carry-forward (x2). Join me for my unboxing video below, or read my additional comments about each release below.

Spider-Mobile Dead-Buggy (Marvel’s Deadpool)

The Spider-Mobile Dead-Buggy finally makes it’s way to Pop Culture. It was a rare Chase variant at SDCC in 2017, and thankfully this one varies enough to not take anything away from that special release. This one features matte paint and comic book styling versus the SDCC release which had gloss paint and realistic styling.

Custom GMC Panel Van (Barbie)

The old A-Team van casting is back in Pop Culture where it has been repurposed as a billboard casting for various licenses. This time, it showcases the one internal license at Mattel that exceeds the reach of Hot Wheels: Barbie. This nostalgic deco by Hot Wheels Graphics Designer, Kristina Albrecht is totally tubular!

Airwolf Helicopter (Airwolf)

The one carry-forward in this mix is the Airwolf Helicopter which just appeared in the last mix of 2025. Its a great helicopter design. Hopefully those that missed out the first time keep these from warming the pegs.

’66 Porsche 906 Carrera 6 (Forza)

The sophomore release of the ’66 Porsche 906 Carrera 6 showcases the casting’s 2-piece windows — allowing for the rear to be a different color from the rest. Hot Wheels Designer, Ron Wong talked about this being crucial for an upcoming livery. I don’t believe this is the one he was referring to. Still, it might be time to get the Forza collection together!

Cobra H.I.S.S. (G.I. Joe)

Cobra (and G.I. Joe) were a huge part of my early childhood. I had a nice collection of Cobra figures because I loved their unique outfits and vehicles that could only be described as “experimental technology”. Out of this whole mix, I was most excited for this vehicle. I’m not even sure where it fits within my collection, but it brings back a surge of memories. Hopefully the Hasbro license allows for us to see some more designs/colors on this.
