The Hot Wheels Fast & Furious Silver Series continues to impress with full details and new castings from one of the best movie franchises for cars of all-time. The 2026 “N” case (mix 2) is known as Dream Lineup. I’m not sure the idea behind the name of the series as the word “dream” seems to be a little but of a stretch. Regardless, let’s take a minute to look at all five vehicles a little closer.
The first car in the series (1/5) is the ’99 Subaru Impreza — a brand-new casting! If you are thinking to yourself, “I’ve never seen this car in Fast & Furious”, then you’re right. The car this one references is a red Subaru with silver trim from the racing scene in Rio de Janeiro in Fast X (2023). It may be a background car, but this wagon version of the Impreza has been a long time coming!
2/5 is the ’50 Chevy Fleetline that Dom raced in Cuba in The Fate of the Furious (2017). You don’t see Hot Wheels releasing many “incomplete” vehicles, but if you’ve seen the movie, you know this is a must-have for any Fast & Furious fan. This is the second release of the Fleetline, and this release varies from the previous one. Check out the video below and you’ll see the comparison on how the paint and wheel colors have been changed.
The ’67 Custom Mustang is back while being released concurrently with it’s first Boulevard release. This is a classic Fast & Furious release was in the very first Fast & Furious Themed Assortment mix at Walmart in 2013. This time, the casting is released in the Silver Series, and it’s the first time we’ve seen it with the CAST5 wheels. This might be the best release of the star from The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006).
One of the star cars from 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) is the Yenko ’69 Camaro. This one has been released a handful of times, but this Silver Series release is the first time we’ve seen it — or any other cars outside of the AcceleRacers mix — with the AR6 wheels.
Vince’s ’99 Nissan Maxima from The Fast and the Furious (2001) wraps up the Dream Lineup. This is essentially the second release of this casting that debuted in Fast & Furious Premium line. It still has the metal base so if you’re looking for the Silver Series vehicle in each series that has that, consider this your information tidbit.
I was able to buy a case of the Walmart Exclusive, Fast & Furious Silver Series / Dream Lineup (mix N) off of eBay for a decent price. I did so primarily because I wanted to share the case breakdown in the event that these cases are not even assortments. I also did it because finding a whole set of Silver Series in-store has not been easy for me, and this set has been especially hard to find! I unboxed one of these 10-count cases on the OTD YouTube Channel within the full Case Report that you see here.
