Hot Wheels 2025 Car Culture / Timeless Icons “N” CASE REPORT

Timeless Icons — the last mix of 2025 Car Culture — came & went! 1 Stop Diecast is already sold out of this mix and we are already seeing the first two mixes of Car Culture at retail. This case is monumental for several reasons. Hot Wheels Designer, Ron Wong, has his name all over this one from the 3 new castings to the “photo booth” style artwork on the packaging. Let’s break it down by casting.

The Ferrari F50 was a ’90s supercar. The ’90s version of the Hot Wheels casting was not-so-much — especially the hardtop version which has always looked off. Finally, the Ferrari F50 returns at the height of Hot Wheels premium — as a premium casting. This new casting is much more proportionate and features some great color breaks due to the casting design execution by Ron.

It seems fitting the #Koenigsegg Agera R is in this mix. Just several years ago, the Agera was THE supercar in Hot Wheels Premium. There weren’t many, and this Koenigsegg was highly sought after. The deco on this one may not appeal to everyone but, damn, I’m a fan!

The oldest casting in this mix is the Porsche Carrera GT. It debuted in the 2006 First Editions, and was thought to have been retired in 2017. Surprise! It’s back! …and it’s premium! Not sure how or why this casting was resurrected, but I’m thinking there is a story to be told there.

Skyline fans, rejoice! The crazy-popular R34 has been redone while the previous casting is at the height of it’s popularity. I’m not sure we’ve seen that before from Hot Wheels. The #Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II (BNR34) looks more true to stock, and does not have those pesky mainline requirements to abide by like the other one did (ie. this one has side mirrors).

Lastly, the Lexus LFA is finally a Hot Wheels car. Why it took this long, I’m not sure. Can it get much better than this version in white? Probably not. I’m thinking this one — while a pegwarmer now — will be one to have in the future.

I unboxed one of these 10-count cases on the OTD YouTube Channel, and have a full #Case Report for you here. 1 Stop Diecast may be sold out but you can use the link below to order (or pre-order) other Car Culture cases.

Hot Wheels #Car Culture cases (FPY86) contain only 10 vehicles, unlike Hot Wheels basics cases which have 72. In this mix, you are guaranteed to get all 5 cars in the series. There are two variants of the case — with or without chase piece. In a standard case (without chase) you will get two of each vehicle. In a case with a chase, you will have the chase piece inserted for the second piece of its casting counterpart.

Below you’ll find the case list — all of which are seen in this video above and in the images below.

  1. Ferrari F50
  2. Koenigsegg Agera R
  3. Porsche Carrera GT
  4. Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II (BNR34)

  1. 1stopdiecast is a scam. I placed my order for this case months ago and they cancelled it. This is the FOURTH pre-order they’ve cancelled on me. Absolute crooks.

    • 1 Stop Diecast is NOT a scam. Per their official communication, they did not receive the full allotment of Timeless Icons from Mattel, hence the cancellation. I’ve been told they ship orders in the order they were received, and start with subscriptions.
