10/21/2025 — Back in July, Hot Wheels collectors voted the #’97 Toyota Supra into production — easily beating the competitors in the 4-vehicle poll with 44.33% of the total vote. Collectors would ultimately vote on color and wheels in subsequent rounds. Long-time, Hot Wheels RLC graphic designer, Steven “HWCVAN” Vandervate, decided to give this one a wild, HKS “oil splash motif” since the previous release, and upcoming 2025 release, are both clean — free of additional deco.

Shame then that Mattel like to rip off the UK buyer, firstly by not allowing the annual membership to be covered onto the UK sales site then to charge WAY MORE for these items if you are from the UK, $28 or £32, and an increase in postage of £10 now to ship one of these… so £42 for this model.
Prices have gone up across the board. I paid $28 + $8 shipping + $2.35 in tax which comes out to $38.35. If you’re talking about the conversion rate being wrong, I would contact the group in charge of the Mattel UK site and see if they can fix that.
I have, multiple times and they always come back with different excuses, I will not be renewing my membership, they are blatantly stealing from NON US customers, and they do not give a **** about it.
where did you see it’s a plinth? Site says blister with kar keeper?
