The first Hot Wheels #Car Culture / Circuit Legends mix in 2018 was good, but not THIS good! Circuit Legends returns to the Car Culture lineup 7 years later as one of the most highly-anticipated mixes of all time, setting a new production record for Car Culture per Fred at 1 Stop Diecast.
The #Ferrari 499P in this Circuit Legends mix signifies the return of Ferrari to Hot Wheels Premium. It’s a void that has existed for 10 years and Hot Wheels Premium has come a long way in the last decade. The Hot Wheels Design Team has stated that this has been the most expensive Hot Wheels Car Culture car (to produce) to date! This Ferrari is the clear headliner in a stellar mix. Oh, and it’s a replica of the car that won Le Mans in 2023!
Another new casting that should turn some heads of the ’24 Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-FD. It’s the newest generation of the RTR Mustang from Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s race team and features an insanely-awesome deco. Check out the case unboxing below to see it compared to the previous gen.
The always popular #Porsche 917K (“917KH” for this release) returns in it’s most iconic deco: the 1970 Le Mans winner. So… TWO Le Mans winners in this mix! That is rad. The casting could use some updates but this release should pair well with the upcoming release in 1:43 Premium, and should fit right in among any vintage race car collection.
With all the racing history here, the #Pandem Subaru BRZ seems a little out of place but that shouldn’t take away from the fact that this is a nicely done version of this casting. Mattel fixed the “crooked wing” issue that plagued it’s 2019 debut in Car Culture / Street Tuners. Hidden gem right here!
In probably any other mix, the #Gulf Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) would be the star. The Rexy/Roxy version in last year’s Race Day mix nearly broke the internet — well, at least the one Hot Wheels collectors use. Gulf has always been popular with Hot Wheels collectors and this deco is tastefully done down to the details like an orange roll cage and the top stripe that continues across the rear window.
I unboxed one of these 10-count cases on the OTD YouTube Channel, and have a full #Case Report for you here. 1 Stop Diecast is officially sold out of these for now! Check the link below in the event they received more cases.

Hot Wheels #Car Culture cases (FPY86) contain only 10 vehicles, unlike Hot Wheels basics cases which have 72. In this mix, you are guaranteed to get all 5 cars in the series. There are two variants of the case — with or without chase piece. In a standard case (without chase) you will get two of each vehicle. In a case with a chase, you will have the chase piece inserted for the second piece of its casting counterpart.
