Hot Wheels #Team Transport has been fun to collect! It goes beyond your typical Hot Wheels vehicle giving you — at minimum — an instant, 2-car livery collection. Some have been historic, some are more brand-centric, and others are just cool pairings. We have also seen a few Hot Wheels introduced via this line, and I’m not talking about just the transporters!

This case features three brand-new sets, and one of those is duplicated (x2) in the case. That set would be the #66 Porsche Racing set which introduces us to the brand-new, ’66 Porsche 906 Carrera 6 casting which is bound for seemingly endless liveries. It also features two different window pieces according to it’s designer, Ron Wong, who said that of which will produce some great opportunities for color breaks in the future. it is paired with the #Carry On transporter which isn’t the best fit here, but it doesn’t offer a modern option for the Porsche “Renndienst” livery collection.

Set #65 contains the #Castrol ’96 Honda Accord which is another racing legend — this time, from Japan. Apparently it went toe-to-toe with Skylines in it’s day winning 15 consecutive races in 1997 and a JTCC Championship the year prior. This one rides on back of the Fleet Street hauler decked out in that super sweet Castrol deco.

Lastly, the #67 set has the aesthetically-pleasing, “1989 test car” livery on the Sauber-Mercedes C9. It’s such a cool deco that scale modelers should be familiar with. Now, Hot Wheels collectors get to relish in this unqiue striping pattern. The deco carries over to the Fleet Flyer included in this set. And, although this is clearly a fantasy pairing, one would suggest that the car should have been delivered in a truck with this ultra cool deco.
