2/18/2019 — Yes, there will still be Kmart Collectors Day Events in 2019 — so long as Kmart stays in business. With stores dropping off the map, you never know come September, but the first event of 2019 will be on an unspecified Saturday in March April. It will surely cause madness as we now know the #MOMO #’71 Datsun 510 (in black) will be one of the four exclusive colorways for the event. For those of you that still have Kmarts in your area, best of luck to you battling all the collectors and their friends, relatives and estranged lovers; as the rest of us will already be battling them online just to get a case to have a chance to send in for the mail-in. The Datsun is going to make it tough.
Below are the four exclusive colorways for the event. NOTE: No, I do not know when the cases will be for sale online. If I find out, you’ll be the first ones to know.

Wow! Funny, I have a Kmart a 1/2 mile from my house (which was also my childhood Kmart where I grew up down the road from there), so it’s final closing will happen in March!
I hope to at least get a case online since the last couple times were unsuccessful. Now I’ll feel like those other people when their Kmart stores closed up!
Hopefully that void can be somewhat real replaced when & if new “TRU Kids” stores open up sometime before the end of the year… or would be nice too if Hobby Lobby builds a store close to my home too. Thanks for the heads up Brad.
Hobby lobby here is much to do about mainlines, no chase. I guess they are taken by someone that divides the cases at the regional warehouse

Wow those K-day exclusive cars and trucks and the mail-in 1967 Ford bronco are all awesome. 👍I will be getting all 4 of those K-day exclusive cars and I will be getting my 20 hotwheels for the mail-in 1967 Ford bronco. 👍 And I can’t wait to add all of those to my hotwheels collection. 👍
Those are awesome, I hope I don’t have to work since they can’t see fit to tell anyone the actual date. I guess I’ll be up at midnight trying to scrap for a case online and get skunked again. What’s wrong with this picture?

If Kmart closes, is there a possibility that Target will do (K-day)? Someone said something about Hobby Lobby. What’s that about?

I called my local kmart and they didn’t know.
No date yet. Just know the month: March.
My Kmart is closing March 3. That sucks!
So my guess is the 36 count Kmart case will align with Mainline “D” cases. So always a chance for TH TwinMill or $TH VW T2 Pickup. Forget the stores, just buy on Kmart.com or Sears.com once the sell date is released. Save time and money and heartbreak by skipping the store event. Buy the case you’ll for sure get 2 each of the 4 K-days cars/trucks. Buying 2 cases you can get 3 mail-in offers. Will be just over $110 investiment. But you can recover high percentage of your investiment selling 2 of the 3 mail-in and the 510’s will go for $10 each.
I would guess the 510’s would go for more than $10.00 IMHO. Much like the Honda EF’s. They were crazy at first. And i found some of those Blue Hondas recently at Dillon’s! All sold now.
So now K-Day is in April?
