Unboxing my own collection … a pretty good mail find

Case unboxings seem to be all the rage on YouTube. Heck, I featured one today by Matthew on Car & Hot Wheels who snagged the latest 2019 Hot Wheels “F” case. It seems like once you’ve one “F” case though, you’ve seen them all. So how about this: unboxing a portion of my collection that came from Wisconsin, where a portion of my collection still remains. It may not be a feature that you’re used to, or even the news you love, BUT its a chance to check out some great older Hot Wheels releases with some background information. I hope you check it out.

So, without further ado, he is me “recollecting” my collection through a pretty decent mail find…

  1. I love going through various boxes in my collection after time has passed. I recently re-discovered my gold chrome ’66 Batmobile from the Mexico convention, my military tribute VW drag buses, and my Zamac mail-ins.

  2. I also found 3 cases of HW that I had as a kid. I got these cars anywhere from 1983 to 1989. In those cases, I found so many vehicles that I can still consider some of my favorite castings. I may be one of the few, but for some reason, the Sharkruiser is one of my all time favorite HW original designs. I think I am only missing maybe 4 or 5 of them from 1986 to now.

    • There are a LOT of close Sharkruiser collectors. Myself included. Just try to find a loose one from the Mutant Biotronic Kingdom set and you will see what I mean.

      • Lol i know what u mean! Im trying to find a loose one so i dont have to open my biotronic pack and its nowhere to be found!

  3. Great video! I didn’t know you were from Wisconsin… an RLC membership feature would be awesome! I just recently finished up all the blue ones myself.
