08/26/2016 — Once a collectors wasteland of slow-moving, out-of-date stock, Walgreens stores have stepped up their game this week with a plethora of collector-friendly Hot Wheels releases. First, collectors have been reporting finding new “N” case mini shippers with a Walgreens Exclusive, Blue ’07 Dodge Ram 1500 from the 2016 HW Hot Trucks series (several per shipper). Next collectors have been reporting finding the new 2016 Halloween cars as well. Now, collectors have been reporting finding the 8-car Gran Turismo series for $1.09 a piece! This is all in addition to Walgreens also carrying the Hot Wheels Car Culture line — albeit at the $3.99 price point. So get out, check your local Walgreens, and let us know what you score!
