I’ve been eagerly awaiting this case, and it’s finally here! Hot Wheels Fast & Furious Premium P case (2026 mix 2) delivers two brand-new, Hot Wheels castings, a modified classic, and a superb chase piece.
The two new castings are the ’67 Chevy Custom C-10 and the ’94 Honda Del Sol. In terms of the movies, the ’94 Honda Del Sol came first as it appeared in the scene leading up to the first street race in The Fast and the Furious (2001). The one in that scene had some crazy hydraulics, whereas the Hot Wheels version clearly does not. Despite not being a hero car, casual fans of the movie can easily recall the Del Sol based on it’s small — but mighty — cameo.
Several years later, when the franchise was rebooted with Fast & Furious (2009), the opening action scene of that movie had Dom, Han, and gang in the Dominican Republic jacking oil tankers with Grand Nationals and some pretty cool customized trucks. The ’67 Chevy Custom C-10 from that scene finally becomes a Hot Wheels car. The casting is fantastic from the dimensions to the part breaks. The only thing that would have made it better? An articulating tow hook! That may not have been in the budget in Hot Wheels premium, but one can dream, right?
Dom’s ’95 Mazda RX-7 from the same opening race scene in The Fast and the Furious (2001) is the chase piece in this mix. We’ve seen it a handful of times in bright red to metalflake red. This time however, is it’s first release in spectraflame red. The shade of red may not be movie accurate, but we are getting a nice little collection of Hot Wheels Fast & Furious cars in spectraflame paint.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 — labeled as Lamborghini Aventador Coupé here — from Furious 7 (2015) makes it’s return to Hot Wheels premium. It’s been 5 years since we’ve seen this one release in Fast & Furious Premium. The last release in the 2021 Euro Fast series was this same color but that release was underwhelming due to the thin rear tires. This new 2026 release has deep dish rims in the rear, remedying the aesthetic eyesore that was that release. Want to see something cool? Check out the video below as I break out the crazy hard-to-find Hot Wheels ID release of this car, and give you close-ups of it with this release.
The lone straight-up repeat here is the ’70 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. Outside of a carry-forward Fast & Furious multi-pack in 2023, we haven’t seen this one since it’s first release in 2019. The matte gray version of this casting seems to be the more popular version to be released amongst the Hot Wheels team.
