This mix of Hot Wheels Car Culture / Team Transport has been out for several weeks now as it started hitting almost simultaneously with the last mix of 2025. It combines vintage racing with modern racing and should appease any general fan of racing.
#86 — When I did the unboxing below, I noticed the Papadakis Racing livery looked very similar to the Rockstar livery — and I end up being correct. Per the Papadakis Racing web site, this car is intended to be the Rockstar Energy Toyota GR Supra. Due to Mattel’s avoidance of energy drink brands however, the Rockstar brand did not make it onto the release. You would think this stance had loosened since we now have Red Bull in Formula 1, but that serves as the exception versus this maintaining the rule. Aside from that, the car looks amazing and even carries the Formula Drift banner across the windshield. This ’21 Toyota GR Supra joins a nice collection of other Hot Wheels Formula Drift vehicles — and it has the Fleet Street to boot!
#87 — The ’61 Impala returns to the Team Transport line in another vintage racing deco. This time, it showcases the “Dyno Don” Nicholson livery which was used on his Impala in 1962. Judging by his site, and a potential long-term licensing deal between him and Mattel, we could be seeing more of his race cars moving forward. As if the Impala wasn’t enough, we get a matching deco on the Horizon Hauler as well in this set.
#88 — The Ford Capri GR5 returns 3 years after it’s debut. This new release features a Ford Motorsport livery that varies in both color and design from the first release. And, with it’s Ford Motorsport Fleet Flyer, you can haul either release in it.
1 Stop Diecast is sold out of these cases! Fortunately, I was able to unbox one of these 4-count cases on the OTD YouTube Channel, and have a Case Report for you here.
