Hot Wheels 2026 Car Culture / Thrill Climbers “Q” CASE REPORT

The 10th Anniversary of Hot Wheels #Car Culture rolls on — or “up” in this case — as Thrill Climbers hits retail. Again, the chase vehicle in each mix for 2026 is not all-black like in previous years. Rather, the vehicle, the #’55 Chevy Bel Air Gasser in this case, comes in satin gold with a 10th Anniversary of Car Culture logo on it.

This new chase structure presents a great opportunity to produce some favorite vehicles in all-black that normally wouldn’t be considered due to chase status (in most cases) being reserved for the new casting. In Thrill Climbers, the #Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.8 AMG gets “murdered-out” in all-black, and man, does this car look sinister! Check out the unboxing below and how I nerd out about it.

The new casting in this case is the Lancia Delta S4 — not to be confused with the similarly-named, Lancia Delta Integrale. To make matters more confusing, the Integrale has previously come with the same livery on it! Again, check out the unboxing as I provide loose close-ups of this one. From there, you’ll see how nicely-detailed this new casting truly is.

The #Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI returns in a Ralliart rally deco that reminds me of the old WRC series from the 2004 Hot Wheels Pro Racing line. We’ve seen more of a street version of this car in 2023 Boulevard. Now, we go full-blown rally for this release!

We go full premium with the Hot Wheels Porsche 914 Safari casting, as this one gets the Rothmans Porsche inspired livery which has previously shown up on a few Porsches in Hot Wheels Premium.

Lastly, the yellow “Bugeye” Subaru — the #Subaru Impreza WRX — makes an appearance. It probably isn’t the rally-inspired Impreza most collectors wanted in terms of deco, but yellow and clean looks nice on this one. Since this case has already hit retail, this one seems to be among the popular choices to go first as the Subaru crowd runs strong in the diecast community.

Hot Wheels #Car Culture cases (FPY86) contain only 10 vehicles, unlike Hot Wheels basics cases which have 72. In this mix, you are guaranteed to get all 5 cars in the series. There are two variants of the case — with or without chase piece. In a standard case (without chase) you will get two of each vehicle. In a case with a chase, you will have the chase piece inserted for the second piece of its casting counterpart.
