Here is another store exclusive #Case Report! I was able to buy a case of the #Walmart Exclusive, Themed Automotive Silver Series / Compact Kings (mix Q) off of eBay for a decent price. Now, in these 2026 cases, Mattel has started designating chases in these mixes, so finding complete sets will definitely be more challenging.
The #Compact Kings name transitions from mainline to Silver Series as we get five outstanding, fully-detailed models in this case. The #’12 Ford Fiesta is back after a 5-year hiatus. The ever-popular, #’99 Honda Civic Type R (EK9) gets wildly distinguishing graphics. The #Subaru WRX STi looks sleek with its monochrome look. The #’15 Mazda MX-5 Miata rocks the #GReddy deco. There is a “chase” car in this mix as the ’91 Nissan Sentra SE-R moves from premium to Silver Series. In the video, I clue you into why Mattel calls it a chase and what they are possible doing to change that nomenclature.
Check out the unboxing video below as I personally unbox one of these 10-count cases on the OTD YouTube Channel within the full #Case Report that you see here.
Hot Wheels Automotive Silver Series cases (GDG44) are exclusive to Walmart in the United States and contain only 10 vehicles, unlike Hot Wheels basics cases which have 72. In this mix, you will get the case breakdown seen below which can also been seen in the unboxing video above.
