Hot Wheels Fast & Furious Premium wraps up 2025 with mix 4 — the “M” case. In this case, you can expect 2 full sets of 5 releases. Here is a quick run-down of those 5 vehicles.
The release of this mix comes in the form of the long overdue, #’93 Honda Civic Coupe EX EJ1. This was one of three “heist Civics” from The Fast and the Furious (2001). Hot Wheels collectors have been clamoring for this one for 10+ years and it’s finally here.
What else is finally here is the Lancer Evolution IX from The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006). This car played a major role in the movie as it was the vehicle Sean truly learned to drift with. When this Hot Wheels casting was first released in 2023, it was this car (in this deco), as it appeared in what is now Fast & Furious Silver Series. The casting’s first two premium releases are appearing concurrently with a clean version of the car appearing in Car Culture / Ronin Run II, and this one in this mix.
The two repeats — or “carry forwards” — here are the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 3.8 and the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera. Both where coveted releases when they were first released but won’t be as popular as the new releases here. The Porsche is nice in silver as it can definitely sit in any’s collectors Porsche collection as a non-Fast & Furious model. The Lambo comes in a spectraflame-esque finish which definitely catches the eye.
Lastly, the Toyota Chaser JZX 100 rounds out the mix. Its a new release, and a new model! Not to be confused with the Hot Wheels Elite 64 #’96 Toyota Chaser JZX100, this is a brand-new casting. The car is suppose to resemble the one in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), but comes up short in a few areas: no wing and no sponsor graphics. Granted, the car in the movie wasn’t anything more than an “extra” or a “background car”.
