You can pre-order the Hot Wheels F1 2024 5-Pack now! Don’t pay $50+ on resale sites.

2/6/2025 — Hot Wheels and Formula 1 launched a new partnership in 2025 and collectors are very excited for some diecast to follow. There already was a pre-sale for an RLC-level F1 car on Mattel Creations back in October as well as a pre-sale for some upcoming premium F1 cars just a couple weeks ago. At the basics level, the Oracle Red Bull Racing debuted as a 2025 New Model in the mainline being just released started with the 2025 C case. We have also seen the F1 2024 5-Pack trickling out where 5-Packs are sold. The latter seems to be a hot commodity as collectors are paying upwards of $100 for these on eBay… see sold listings below.

Don’t be one of the over-eager collectors ponying up that amount of cash for what I assume will be a 5-Pack that is made in generous quantities. Sure, it may say, “F1 2024” on the top of the 5-Pack but I believe this to actually be a 2025 release of the Formula 1 cars from the 2024 season. That should put to be any thought that you missed out on this one. Supporting my theory is the fact that this F1 5-Pack is now available via pre-sale on Entertainment Earth for $6.25. These have a February 2025 release date according to the site, and if I know a thing or two, we will see case packs of these — meaning we could see in bulk at retail or on other sites like Amazon.

  1. with the modern age of hot wheels ,theres just too much ,and Ive become a lot more selective, if this was an 80’s pack, there would have been a lot wider variance yn the cars design, and I would be more interested, these F1’s are too cookie cutter.and there are alot of other hotwheels to spend by money on, I did the nascars in the 90;s because, they were a new line of hotwheels to buy, when there was also far fewer hot wheels options out there. every tear I say I’m going to take them down to make room for expansion. still aint done it yet, not a racing fan, but I do some times watch the cars go around the track. fpr the action of it. who wins dont matter to me.

  2. I can see if a Ferrari was included in the set, but I’m not buying into the hype! I can spend good money on this hobby, so that’s not a problem.

I AM NOT going to spend money on something that should be for the kids. Like the last person mentioned, it’s that they’re too ‘cookie cutter’ and there’s little variation to set each one apart from one another. I watch Formula 1 and even with the real life cars, they just don’t evoke a deep passion like the cars of F1 past. Yeah, tobacco and alcohol sponsorship produced some of the best race liveries to ever grace those awesome machines back then so I’m not feeling it so much these days!

All this is now is a money making scheme for those who have no interest in the hobby & want to make a fast buck!! Yes, don’t jump at it so fast, be patient, don’t buy into it & in time this hype will die down!!
