Hot Wheels #Pop Culture kicks off 2025 with some bangers while returning some old favorites. The collector favorite #Kool Kombi returns with the all-new, Mattel 80th Anniversary livery. This mix has already started appearing at retail and this one is definitely the first to go! On top of that, we are introduced to the brand-new, Aston Martin Vanquish. Since this is the Pop Culture line, we get the one from 007: Die Another Day (2002). Don’t tell me this is a 23-year-old car as the Vanquish still looks fantastic and Hot Wheels Designer, Ron Wong did an excellent job creating it in Hot Wheels form.
#The Mystery Machine and #K.I.T.T. are carried forward here — same card and everything. Again, great for newer collectors, but wish there was some variance between the releases. The #’68 Mazda Cosmo Sport gets the final spot here. While it’s inclusion in Jay Leno’s Garage is a nice touch for carded collectors, the car is essentially the Japan Historics 3 release with an Indonesia base.
