Here is another store exclusive #Case Report! I was able to buy a case of the #Walmart Exclusive, Automotive Silver Series / HW Speed Graphics (mix J) off of eBay for a decent price. Finding a whole set of Silver Series (formerly Silver-Label Premium) in-store is definitely challenging. Also, I wanted to share that these cases are not split evenly. You see below.

As far as this mix is concerned, the five vehicles are all great fits, and welcomed additions to my collection. The one car that will surely be highly-sought-after is the #’99 Honda Civic Type R (EK9) in #Falken livery. Civic have been flying off the pegs. Fortunately, this one comes x3 per case.

Interest in the Hot Wheels Range Rover Classic and Porsche 914 Safari has picked up. The #Castrol livery on the Range Rover looks very Dakar Rally inspired, while we — as Hot Wheels collectors — are introduced to a new livery with Type 7 on the Porsche.

Lastly, two future classics — the #Mazda RX-3 and #Big-Air Bel-Air — round out this mix. The RX-3 has been all over (mainline, premium, and now, silver) as of late. I am building a nice casting collection of it! The Mothers wax deco in Red & Black is certainly eye-catching. The Big-Air rocks the Eibach deco. The fit aligns with the fact that is this an #Off-Road Vehicle repping a spring manufacturer.

Takeaways from this case/mix… the card art is fantastic! Really, all of these #Walmart Exclusive, Themed Automotive Assortment sets for 2024 have been great — SEE THE FULL LIST HERE. As I mentioned in the unboxing video, I really like how the vehicles are set in some sort of tunnel with the logo of the brand worked into the billboard on the wall. The art really takes this series the extra mile (pun intended) past just slapping an automotive brand on the side of the vehicle.

I will note that all 5 vehicles have metal bodies and plastics bases. Considering that all of these have had a metal base at some time or another, you’d rather see them metal/metal. They do get the full-detail and silver series exclusive wheels, but having their metal base counterparts would have only increased collector affinity for this series.
