The anti-pop-culture, pop culture brand MSCHF has teamed up with Hot Wheels to release the latest Hot Wheels collaboration this week. Starting today, the official Craigslist-style microsite is up for Not Wheels — a “car” that brings new meaning to the word jalopy.
This three-wheeled “creation” is advertised as “USED for 2024” as it looks to be straight out from under the overpass. The windows are dirty, cracked, and the windshield has started to accumulate parking tickets. The dented body is made up of various body panels that have been adhered on by a variety of styles: including (but not limited to) nails, tape, putty, screws, and bungee cords. Oh, and it isn’t totally clear if that after-market wing is made of cardboard, wood, or some other “space-aged” material.
The card art mimics the 2024 mainline card as it lists the vehicle in the “HW Normal Cars” segment and calls out it as “Not Totaled Yet” and “Cinder Block Not Included!”. There is no warranty here as MSCHF is making it clear they are selling you pure junk which will be oddly collectible in today’s hypebeast market.
If you’re still interested, Not Wheels drops on Mattel Creations this Friday, August 30 at 9AM PST. For $30, this one will not roll but is still anticipated to sell out. Will you be buying this piece of junk? Don’t let us know in the comments below.

I think it is a fantastic idea. I love when companies think outside of the box.
