Hot Wheels 2024 Car Culture / Team Transport “C” CASE REPORT

Here comes the third mix of Hot Wheels #Team Transport on the heels of mix 2. Hobby dealers have begun shipping out the 2024 “C” case of this line which contains three brand-new sets. One of those (#70) is duplicated in the case. 1 Stop Diecast has cases for sale now (link below). I unboxed one of these 4-count cases on the OTD YouTube Channel, and have a full #Case Report for you here.

The first set is #68. VP Racing gets the nod here for the first time in Team Transport. Said livery debuts on the ’63 Chevy Nova and the brand-new, ’88 Chevy Silverado 3500 — which should be a popular truck by itself. Time will tell if we see this truck outside of this line because, technically, it is a hauler casting. I know collectors want it released individually. Will Hot Wheels oblige?

Liberty Walk returns to Team Transport in set #69. This time, we get LBWK in a “robin egg” blue color to match the 1:1 LBWK Kenmeri which is shrunk down to 1:64 scale for this release. We saw this car debut in this same color, but now we get a full premium version of that car with Real Riders.

The aforementioned #70 set is the one that is duplicated in this case. It is assumed this vintage Mercedes set will be the least popular of the three given how strong #68 and #69 are. Still, it’s the first time we see the ’55 Mercedes-Benz Blaues Wunder outside of the Jay Leno Premium Display Set — albeit in the same deco. I never found that set so this is actually the first time the transporter has joined my collection. Speaking of the collection, I have a nice casting collection going for the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL. Despite it appearing once again in silver, this release has a new deco, making it another unique release for the casting.

Hot Wheels #Car Culture / Team Transport cases (FLF56) contain 4 sets (8 vehicles). In this mix, you get all three sets, plus an extra #70. This is constant across all cases of this mix. Below you’ll find the case list — all of which are seen in this video and in the images below.

#68 — ’63 Chevy Nova / ’88 Chevy Silverado 3500 (x1)
#69 — Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R LBWK / Fleet Flyer (x1)
#70 — Mercedes-Benz 300 SL / ’55 Mercedes-Benz Blaues Wunder (x2)

  1. nice to see the 63 altered nova from DSD making a comeback. over all I’ve been pleased to see so many of the DSD’s and nostalgia showing up with the haulers and twin packs. it would be sweet if the rails and wedges also eventually get used. both those old series had some really great castings. TAZ

  2. Can’t wait for the Team Transport 2024 Release D with both the ’89 Supra and course, the Nissan 300ZX GTS!!
