Did anyone receive their order from Amazon? Mine was set to deliver last week and then the day it was due to arrive I got a notice saying my order status had changed and that it was now unavailable. I’m really hoping their entire order from Mattel is just running a bit late, but honestly, I’m not holding my breath that I’ll ever see this from Amazon. They burned me before on the Entertainment Forza set a couple of years ago.
I ordered two. The day they were due (3 June) they sent me an e-mail that they were delayed and did I still want them. I said yes and have not heard any update on delivery yet.
I’m still waiting for mine…Amazon screwed me over and I believe its because they don’t want to let it go for the 12.99 price as its well over that now!!
I don’t consider myself a conspiracy theorist in the least, but yeah, this was my thought exactly!
I pre-ordered too. And I kept waiting instead of buying elsewhere, but now they are saying the product is only available from 3rd party sellers at 2x the price that was originally advertised for pre-orders. Good part is the card was never charged. As someone else said above, I got burned a couple years ago from cancelled pre-orders, in my case for the F&F Fast Imports cars. But this time the order hasn’t been cancelled. Instead we are being nudged to buy at 2x from non Amazon sellers. If anyone is/was able to convince Amazon customer service to compensate (they’ve done so in the past) with credit if we choose to pay 2x to the seller, let me know?
I just received a notice the other day that I needed to approve an extension on my Amazon order (by Sep 1, I believe) or the order would be canceled. I’m trying to stay optimistic that this means Amazon is still expecting to receive a shipment of these to be able to fulfill our orders. I didn’t see a new expected due date.

I ordered also two and my order got cancelled a few weeks later.
Now the cheapest is 24.99
Amazon did the same with me on two ID Hotwheels last year.
